In and outs of breeding
Voeelk breeding is the way to obtain a nugget. Whether it be for a canon story, new character ideas or to trade.
Nuggets are the name given to the combination of the parents void once laid.

Bred nuggets use breeding tokens and in return earn you multiple changes, different base and eye colours.
​
Each breeding is hand crafted by the team of mods to give every member a unique child!
Each parent must be a minimum of 6 months old in order to breed and must be a fully grown adult.
For most of the year, breedings can only be requested between opposite genders or intersexed however certain times of year you can breed same sex couples with the blessing of Hemanus.
Nuggets can be born with blessings, curses and mutations. Read more about it in Unusual Nuggets.

Getting Started
Items
In order to request a breeding to be rolled, you require a breeding token.
Every member has one (1) free non transferable breeding token added to their inventory upon getting your first Voeelk approved, and you can purchase more through the shops with coins or USD or win through events and raffles. Free tokens must have a minimum of one breeding image to use, more info below in Breeding Images.
You can purchase other items to use on the breeding to personalize the baby more to your liking;
Base merger: Used to combine the base colours of the parents to create a new pallet (can combine grandparents as well)
Base picker: Lets members choose between either parents base to be guaranteed past down. Does not include grandparents colours)
Secondary picker: Adds in two colours from the apposing parent. One will be the base and a second will be an additional colour from that parent)
Eye picker: Allows members to choose their own eye colour for their baby, rather then being randomly picked between the parents (or potentially grandparents)

Breeding Images
Breeding images are used to increase your odds at earning twins or triplets.
Images used for breeding prompts must be polished and showing the two potential parents interacting in some way!
How do images boost our chances at rolling extra babies?
Each new image you draw increases the chance of a twin or triplet in intervals,
for twins your chances increase by 10% to a maximum of 5 images and a 50% chance.
Triplets increase by 5% to a maximum of 25% chance.
Collaborations between members is allowed but at least one person involved with breeding must work on it as well.
Getting your Nugget rolled
Once you have completed and posted your breeding images to the group, you can post your request to the discord channel "Fertility Clinic" with the following form

Unusual Nuggets
Every breeding has a small chance of inheriting unusual changes, these chances increase depending on if one of both parents have an unusual quirk.
Mutations are the most common quirk to be past onto a newborn, these include
Heterochromia
Split eyes
Dwarfism
Gigantism
Albinism
Melanistic
Piebaldsm
Chimerism
Each nugget naturally has a 1 in 10 chance of receiving a mutation, this goes up to 1 in 5 if one parent has a mutation of some kind and 2 in 5 if both parents have one. The baby is not guaranteed to receive the same mutation as the parents however.

Other obtainable quirks include illnesses such as blindness and drippy disease or even craniothoracopagus (conjoined twins) though those odds are lower.
​
More potential things to be passed down to the child include the parents known magic, with a 1 in 5 chance of passing on magic if only one parent knows any, or 2 in 5 if both parents know some. The magic quirk given to the child is randomized between all known magics of the parents, so it could be basic right up to master level quirks.
